After nearly a month of preparation Samaritan EMS will begin taking calls Friday afternoon, pending state license approval. Brett Selvidge from Samaritan Ems once again briefed the Commissioners Monday morning. During the update Selvidge stated they had received mutual aid agreements with Hominy and Pawhuska EMS, and were still waiting for agreements with Bartlesville and Skiatook. He had stated that Samaritan has purchased two more vehicles to add to their fleet, now bringing their total to 14 trucks available, and the ambulance leased from Barnsdall has been repaired and will be operational this week. Selvidge said the last step will be moving the new trailer to the Ambulance barn in Barnsdall, but if that does not happen before Friday, Selvidge stated they will “make it work”.
