The final qualifying rounds before the regional tournament took place on Saturday for the Pawhuska Huskies. The team went to Crescent and did very well. Competing in the champions division, the Huskies finished second for a humorous duet and got a third place finish for a dramatic interpretation. Andrew Williams and Piper Pryor had only been working on that for a week and Charles Jeffrey says they were competing against tough competition.
This is the first year the duo have been in speech class. Jeffrey says the duo will face even stiffer competition at the regional meet, but he feels as if they will be ready. The regional meet will be March 16 and the state meet will follow soon thereafter. Comments are closed.
