It did not take long for the newly formed Pawhuska Merchants Association to get the attention of Pawhuska merchants and residents. If you have driven through downtown Pawhuska, you will see some major changes to the China Cafe, the store with the help of the Merchants Association were able to remodel their store front. The Pawhuska Merchant Association has only been formed for two months and has undertaken a large project, but as they have proven they are ready to get busy.
President of the Pawhuska Merchant Association Mary Jane Mashunkashey says it is all about helping the Merchants. The China Cafe's storefront is just the first of the Associations planned projects. Their focus will be on members of the Pawhuska Merchant Association, as well as those who take part in the First Saturday event every month.
