Tuesday the Barnsdall Chamber of Commerce met for their second meeting for February, during which they discussed upcoming events and received a presentation from Lakeside Chiropractic and Rehab.
The Barnsdall Easter Egg hunt is quickly approaching and is scheduled for March 26, at 10am. The event will be held at the Barnsdall City Park and is sponsored by American Heritage Bank and the Assembly of God Church. The Assembly of God Church has assembled approximately 1,200 eggs for the Easter Egg Hunt and plan on increasing the number to 1,500. American Heritage Bank will providing cash prizes which can be found in random eggs. Barnsdall Public Schools will be helping once again filling eggs for the event. The Chamber received a presentation from Dr. Beth Goodman for Lakeside Chiropractic and Rehab in Skiatook about maintaining good spinal health for the first 100 years of your life. The presentation revolved around preventative maintenance, much like seeing the dentist or optometrist to avoid more severe problems. Lakeside Chiropractic and Rehab is located at 1529 W. Rogers Blvd in Skiatook. Chamber President Claud Rosendale also discussed some of the progress regarding Big Heart day and will be holding a Big Heart Day planning meeting Tuesday evening at the Barnsdall Community Center at 5:30 pm.
