The Pawhuska Huskies defeated the Preston Pirates by a final tally of 55-45 in Thursday night’s opening round matchup of the Mike Kerr Classic taking place in Morrison. Things weren’t nearly that easy, however as the game featured several lead changes and Preston led by two heading into the fourth quarter.

Walker led the Huskies with 19 points, while Mason Gilkey and Justus each added 10. The win puts Pawhuska in the semifinals on Friday evening where they will face Morrison at 8:30 p.m.
