We are still more than 20 days away from the start of fall camp for area football teams, but the Pawhuska Huskies have been hard at work all summer long. Football coach Matt Hennesy says he has seen the team make great strides during their summer pride workoutsduring the last several weeks.
Hennesy said 20 of his players had perfect attendance during their summer pride workouts this year. He added that the culture heading into his second season is completely different from a year ago when he first took over. The Huskies went 0-10 in 2017, but went 6-5 in Hennesy's first year as head coach. Pawhuska opens up the 2019 campaign on Friday, Aug. 30 with a game at Kellyville. Comments are closed.
