A Hominy man charged with Child Abuse by Injury entered a guilty plea on Wednesday, January 27. Osage County deputies arrested 39-year-old Matthew Gilley on February 26, 2015 after he called law enforcement to report that he had found a two-year-old girl unresponsive. The child was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa where she underwent emergency surgery for bleeding on the brain. Upon further investigation, injuries were found on the child's eye, back, chest and abdomen. Gilley's bond remains at $250,000. He has no other felony convictions. Sentencing is set for April 5, in Osage County Court.
