 The Osage County Health Department will be offering free flu shots at their Osage County Drive-Thru Flu Vaccine Event. Heather Barkley explained the details of the event at the meeting of the Osage County Commissioners Monday Morning.
Barkley stated that there will be a limited number of flu shots available and vaccinations are on a first come first serve basis. She also emphasized that if you have never received a flu shot before you will need to plan to stay for a few minutes in order to ensure there are no allergic reactions to the vaccine. Barkley also wanted to thank participating sponsors for the event, Osage County Public Health Department, Osage Nation Health Nursing, Osage Nation CHRs, Osage County Emergency Management, Osage Nation Emergency Management, Osage County Fire, and Wah-Zha-Zhi Health Center.
