An additional 1,170 COVID-19 cases have been reported in Thursday’s situation update from the Oklahoma Sate Department of Health. Four more deaths are also reported, none locally however.
Washington County is currently reporting 62 active cases at this time, an increase of one since Wednesday. Osage County sits at 236 active cases, which is flat from a day ago. Data suggests that an increase in institutional cases is the reason for this rise in cases. Nowata County is currently at 22 active cases, an increase of two from a day ago. The COVID-19 alert map will be released tomorrow, which will give county-by-county risk levels. Last week, Osage County remained in the orange, or moderate risk category, while Washington and Nowata Counties were both in the yellow, or low risk, categories. Comments are closed.
