Barnsdall's season came to an end a week ago when the Panthers fell to Watonga in the first round of the regional tournament, 74-57. Barnsdall ended the season with a 13-12 record.
Heath Moles, Michael Marin and Braden Kelley are all graduating. They have been starting since they were sophomores and coach Wade Corder says they will be sorely missed. Because the Panthers made a run to the quarterfinals of the Class A state football championship, the basketball team got off to a slow start, as the Panthers were 5-10 at one point on the season, but they were able to rebound and finish the year 8-3. This was Corder's first year leading the Panther basketball program and Corder says he is enjoying serving in that role. Basketball season may have ended last Thursday, but Corder and 28 baseball players made the trip to Rejoice Christian on Tuesday for their first game of the season. Comments are closed.
