Due to the observation of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr day the Osage County Courthouse was closed Monday and the Osage County Board of County Commissioners held their weekly meeting on Tuesday.
On the agenda for the Tuesday meeting was Clair Wood, from the Osage Nation, to discuss the Donation of the Osage County Fairgrounds Woman's Building and Clarence Brantley Indoor Arena for the Young Child Event, April 13, 2016. The Commissioners agreed to donation. Myron Red Eagle was also on the agenda this week to discuss the Windmills in Osage County. However, Red Eagle was unable to attend. Osage County District Attorney Rex Duncan also added the item was not appropriate for public session. The ramainder of the meeting was utilized taking care of administrative items including the signing of a contract with RECtec for High Speed Fiber Internet for the Osage County Courthouse, which was approved for $1,300 a month. The Osage County Board of County Commissioners will next meet Monday, January 25, at the Osage County Courthouse in Pawhuska at 10am. Comments are closed.
