Dr. Seuss' birthday will be celebrated this Saturday at the Bartlesville Public Library. His birthday is being celebrated on the same day as, “National Read Across America Day.”
Bartlesville Public Library Youth Services Librarian Laura Pryce says this is a motivational and awareness day, calling on all children and youth in every community across the United States to celebrate reading. From 2 in the afternoon until 3:30, children, along with their families, are invited to stop by the library and enjoy snacks, games, activities, prizes and stories. The library is located at 600 S. Johnstone Ave. and the program is funded by the Bartlesville Friends of the Library. For more information, call 918-338-4170. Comments are closed.
