Friday is the last day to apply for voter registration so that you can be eligible to vote in the Osage County General Election on April 2.
Osage County Election Board Secretary Kelly Chouteau said United States citizens, residents of Oklahoma and those aged 18 years or older are eligible to vote. Chouteau adds that those who are not registered to vote in their county of residence must also fill out an application. The County Election Board responds to all applications. The response will either be a voter identification card listing your polling location or a letter giving a reason why your application was denied. Chouteau said if you have not received a response within 30 days, you should contact the County Election Board at 918-287-3036 or email [email protected]. Voter registration forms are available at the County Election Board office, located at 630 Kihekah Ave. in Pawhuska. They are also available at most post offices, tag agencies and public libraries in the county. You can also go to osage.okcounties.org or the state website, www.elections.ok.gov. Comments are closed.
