For a second consecutive year, the Pawhuska Huskies are the host team in a Class A quarterfinal match-up. Pawhuska suffered a 28-12 loss to Ringling a year ago and to avoid that same fate this year, Pawhuska coach Matt Hennesy says the Huskies must play disciplined football.
The Bearcats come into this game with an 8-5 record, but Hennesy says that is somewhat misleading, as they have been battle-tested throughout the entire season. When watching Mooreland on film, Hennesy noticed their lack of size, but also their lack of depth, as they have all 11 players playing on both sides of the football. This is something he hopes the Huskies are able to take advantage of early. Friday night's game can be heard on Sportstalk KPGM FM 99.1 and viewed on KPGMTV.com. Kickoff from Ormond Beach Memorial Stadium is scheduled for 7 p.m. Comments are closed.
