The Board of Osage County Commissioners met for the first regularly scheduled meeting of the New Year and Steve Talburt was appointed to serve as district two county commissioner, replacing Kevin Paslay who had served since 2016. The commissioners elected district three commissioner Darren McKinney to serve as Chairman of the Board for 2021 and Randall Jones will be the Vice-Chair. The commissioners voted to allow the Osage County Health Department to use the Agriculture Building each Tuesday through March 31st to administer the COVID-19 vaccine. The mileage reimbursement rate for county employees was set at 56 cents for 2021. An engagement letter for district two’s exit audit was approved. There were no utility permits signed at the meeting. The next regularly scheduled Board of Osage County Commissioners meeting is scheduled for next Monday at 10 o’ clock in the morning.  Comments are closed.
