The Board of Osage County Commissioners met at the courthouse in Pawhuska for a regular scheduled meeting Monday morning. The commissioners decided to sign a letter of support for Miller EMS that will help them get grant money from the Oklahoma Emergency Response Systems and Stabilizations and Improvement Revolving Fund.
Miller EMS will use that money to purchase ambulances in the city of Barnsdall, Avant and Fairfax. The commissioners also signed a letter requesting emergency funding from through the natural resources conservation services. They will use that money to stabilize several eroded steam banks across Osage County. The commissioners are still attempting to find portable showers for Cavalcade. Commissioners Assistant Kandy Jump wasn’t present to give an update on the subject. The next regular scheduled Board of Osage County Commissioners meeting is scheduled for next Monday at 10 o’ clock in the morning. Comments are closed.
